Pizzeria Il Castello in Nesselwang

During my rehab I often picked up pizzas there. Pizza was very good, both the batter and the topping. In my opinion, you could only work with the lasagna, it was also good, but I've also eaten very good ones. Pick up staff was friendly.

Very good Italian. We had spaghetti aglio e olio, a pizza with rocket and a tiramisu for dessert. Everything tasted excellent. The Primitivo was first class. Although we had made a reservation, the table was still occupied. The boss offered us his house table. It was right next to the kitchen and a bit restless, but they gave us a wine.

We were allowed to dine twice on our vacation and are absolutely thrilled. The friendliness there is only secondary but just as perfect as the delicious food.

Very tasty pizza and eaten a salad. Food was very good, staff very friendly, food was there very quickly. Seat under the chestnut trees, could sit there with a dog. All in all, highly recommended!

We have been regulars for over 20 years. Consistently good quality and friendly, courteous service over this long period of time.

Stayed here on vacation in early August and will definitely eat here again when in Nesselwang. We had pizza and fish. Delicious. Very nice Italian family business, you feel like you are in Italy, everyone is very friendly. Great atmosphere. The beer garden under the old chestnut trees is also very beautiful. You feel good all around and get a great Italian meal.

Very bad experience, first of all had to ask 3 times if we could order from 3 different employees, everyone always referred to someone else. Finally ordered, children's pasta with tomato sauce was really sparse and not tasty. Instant packet of tomato sauce. But to top it all off pasta aglio olio every piece of garlic in it was burnt, completely black. Extremely bitter and bad taste. After reporting it to the employee, his answer was we have been making it this way for 30 years. That's how you have to make it real. Please skip this case!

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Price-performance ratio is great. A visit is highly recommended! It is best to reserve a table;)

Very nice staff. We made an extra reservation and didn't have to wait long for the meal. The pizza and the pasta were priced absolutely okay despite extra requests. The only drawback ... there are not enough parking spaces

Mediocre - the service was okay, but the Pizzas were overly salty and the cheese overpoweringly rich. The dough, on the other hand, was very good.
